On the 4th of March

Work has me traveling quite a bit and this scene has become commonplace for me.  The 4th of March found me at a Red Roof Inn in Ohio.  I was running low on time and inspiration but noticed the light coming in the window before I left the room.  I think it turned out nice for a black and white.

Unfortunately I was unable to process and submit this in time for Jason D Moore’s project this month.  Seems I wasn’t the only one as our showing this month was extremely low.  Check out this month’s entries.  The 4th fell on a Saturday in April and I know most if not all of you reading this took a photograph that day.  Consider sending a shot you like from that day to Jason for inclusion in next months article.

My February submission to Jason D. Moore Photography’s On the 4th project.  Last month I went into DC to take an advanced look at an upcoming photowalk route near the Memorial Bridge.  With temperatures in the low 20s and winds around 20 knots it was an extremely frigid evening.  I didn’t spend as much time as I wanted there as the wind off the Potomac cut right through me.  I could barely keep my tripod steady in most spots.  I did manage to take a few shots I liked though.

On the 4th of January

My January submission to Jason D. Moore Photography’s On the 4th project.  Sherri and I attended the Mid-Atlantic Motorcycle Spectacular this January 4th.  She graciously agreed to pose for this photo proving she makes quite a cowgirl.
