Rosslyn Skyline
This was an attempt to recreate a shot from a photowalk earlier this year. Using the lessons I learned from that photowalk and since I think this one turned out better.
Yellow Hibiscus
I needed to break away from my night photos and display something a little more bright. I took a series of photos of my wifes hibiscus plant this weekend. I was planning to build a triptych in Lightroom with them but its just too complicated. I find it much easier to build it myself in Elements.

Washington National Cathedral at Night
One of the best subjects to shoot at night in DC is the National Cathedral on Wisconsin Blvd. Its at the top of my list for locations when I’m bored at night. The shot below is a 3 photo HDR from my last visit.
My Daughter’s Work
Today I’m posting a couple of shots my daughter took on our night outing into DC this week. I’m very proud of what she was able to do with as little experience with a DSLR that she has. Just think of what she could do if she practiced.
