Thanks to my RSS reader I found another fun photography activity for 2009.  Jason, at Jason D Moore Photography, is hosting an “On the 4th” project throughout the year.  The concept is to take a photo on the 4th of every month.

The goal is to provide a unique perspective of the similarities and differences of our unique and varied experiences on a given day throughout the year from our scattered locations around the country and world.

Yesterday was the first 4th of the year and I’m sure many, if not all, of you reading this clicked your shutter release at least once.  Consider joining this project and adding your perspective to his view of the world.  He is accepting photos by email up to the 20th of each month.  You can find all the details on his blog.

The above image was taken on the 4th at the Mid-Atlantic Motorcycle Spectacular in Chantilly, VA.  I would estimate there were over 50 bikes on display with an impressive number of Harleys (even one in a drawing give-away).  Sherri and I spent a few hours wandering the cycle displays, window shopping the various retailer selling everything from leather clothing to shammys, taking in a tattoo contest, and oogling the models on display (well that was me, not Sherri).

Leave a comment if you decide to join me in Jason’s On the 4th project.

I strongly recommend that you turn the No Follow off in your comment section.

I’ll watch Google Webmaster Tools, and if the links don’t show up after a couple of weeks — I won’t go back to that blog again.

Another suggestion: you should have a Top Commentator widget installed.

Do Follow and Top Commentator will ensure that you have a successful blog with lots of readers!
