New Logo!
I’m excited to roll out the new User 40.0 logo today! Its been a long time coming.
Since my artistic abilities in graphic design could fill a thimble I looked for outside help. Last week on Twitter I saw a post from @matthewktabor offering free design work for the first person to DM him:
matthewktabor Pro Bono Alert: first person to DM me gets a free logo design done in the next hour. Go!
Not being one to pass up a free offer I threw my name in the hat. Matt ended up making three free offers based on the replies he received.
We communicated on Twitter and by email to exchange ideas and requirements. The resulting email describing the focus of the site ended up being the content of my About page.
I must say I was extremely impressed by what Matt presented. With what I feel was minimal requirements he was able to design a series of images that fit exactly what I was looking for. It couldn’t be said better than how Matt described it:
I love contrast between new media/digital media and classic images.
